Sony Music's Creative Group won Best Advertising Campaign at the Media Guardian Awards, which were held at Sketch. To our knowledge no music company has ever won this award before.

The Media Guardian “MEGA Awards” are among the most prestigious creative awards in the UK. Open to the creative agency community they are always hotly contested and 2009 is no exception. It is very rare for a music campaign to be shortlisted but this year the Creative Group’s ‘AC/DC Rocks The Office – EXCEL Video’ campaign won the award for Best Advertising Campaign.

In the same category were Starcom for Honda’s ‘Difficult Is Worth Doing’ campaign, on which millions of pounds have been spent, plus RKCR/Y&R for the Home Office backed and funded Anti–Knife campaign, again hugely resourced.
