  • AC/DC's Black Ice has been nominated for 'International Album of the Year' award at the 2009 Juno Awards, set to take place in Vancouver on March 29th on CTV.
    The band is up against Coldplay (Viva la Vida), Guns N' Roses (Chinese Democracy), Jack Johnson (Sleep Through the Static) & Metallica (Death Magnetic) for the award.

  • "You just know it's going to be a good year ahead in Toronto when the first week of 2009 sees the return of the best, biggest, loudest, and lewdest rock show of 2008," writes the Toronto Sun, after AC/DC's concert on Friday night at the Rogers Centre.

    The rockers revisited the venue, a mere two months after blowing the roof off the joint last November, with their 'Black Ice' tour in support of their huge comeback album. 45, 000 fans filled the stadium for the almost two hour show.

  • Two new videos promoting AC/DC's new album, 'Black Ice', are now available! The first was shot on Toronto's Queen Street, featuring a chalk artist sketching a sidewalk mural of the 'Black Ice' logo. The second video features the "Rock 'N Roll Plane" flying the group's banner over Toronto's Roger's Centre - the same venue where AC/DC recently performed a sold-out show and where they'll be returning to play again in January.

  • AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack is available in stores now for Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation2 and PlayStation3 video game consoles. AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack marks the first time the iconic rock band has released an entire album for video game play. The band’s first inclusion in a music-based video game came with the launch of Rock Band 2, which features AC/DC’s “Let There Be Rock”.

  • ‘Black Ice’ was recorded at Warehouse Studios, which was an original location of the Vancouver City Hall. "People come from all over the world to make their recordings, to make movies.” Said the Mayor Sullivan of Vancouver. “The city is a hotbed of real great talent and we should celebrate that."

    The official ‘AC/DC Day’ proclamation is expected to be made on the same day of the band’s performance at GM Place.

  • Last night, AC/DC played a very intimate secret show in Wilkes-Barre, PA for a few thousand lucky fans. Here is a little taste of what went down and what you can expect if you have tickets to one of their many shows which begin tomorrow.
