AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd will be opening his very own restaurant on the Harbour Bridge marina in Tauranga, New Zealand, Phil's home town.
The Bay Of Plenty Times reports that Phil's Place will open its doors this month, and that many of Phil's friends from around the world will be flying in. He has of course invited his band mates from AC/DC to the grand opening. ""Sure I will invite the boys [AC/DC band members Brian Johnson, Angus and Malcolm Young, and Cliff Williams]. I've told them if they don't dress up they are not getting in. Brian is a good cook; he will get in the kitchen. It's not about pulling in the stars for the launch to make a fizz, because for me, it's got to be a smouldering hot spot all the time," says Phil.
They have long been known for their hard-living antics.
And now rock veterans AC/DC - who have sold more than 200 million albums during their career - are moving into the wine industry.
The band have teamed up with Australian winery Warburn Estate to release a range of AC/DC wines, which goes on sale on Thursday.
The wines have been sourced from the Australian regions of Barossa and Coonawarra.
And the range includes wines named after the band’s most famous hits, including Back in Black Shiraz, Highway to Hell Cabernet Sauvignon, Hells Bells Sauvignon Blanc and You Shook Me All Night Long Moscato.
Steve Donohue, general manager of buying for the Woolworths Liquor Group which will sell the line, said that it was a 'no-brainer' to sell the wine.
AC/DC are one of the highest grossing brands of all time.
They survived the death of original singer, Bon Scott - who died in London in February 1980 after a night of heavy drinking - to rack up more hits with his replacement Brian Johnson.
But they are not the first band to produce their own wine. In 2008, The Rolling Stones signed an agreement with Ex Nihilo vineyard to produce their own wines. Jeff Harder - of Ex Nihilo - said at the time: '[The Rolling Stones] don’t just join anybody. They like our wine and our concept.'
Sales of celebrity wines have risen strongly in recent years. Other celebrities to have teamed up with vineyards include Madonna, rock act KISS and Barbra Streisand.

Former AC/DC bass player Mark Evans, who played with the band from 1975 through 1977, and appears on the albums “T.N.T.”, “ High Voltage”, “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”, and “Let There Be Rock” (and the “74 Jailbreak” album) is releasing his very own memoir titled “Dirty Deeds, My Life Inside/Outside of AC/DC”. The book has already been released in Australia this August, and the North American edition of the book is slated for release in November.
The book is now available for pre-order through from Bazillion Points books http://www.dirtydeedsbook.com
One day in 1975, 19-year-old Aussie rocker Mark Evans walked into a local bar to check out a band. Within days, he played his first show as bass player of AC/DC. A week later he was on national TV, alongside devious schoolboy Angus Young and the wild singer Bon Scott-dressed as a pigtailed, cigarette-smoking schoolgirl and waving a mallet. In the next few years Mark toured internationally, and appeared on the groundbreaking and platinum-selling AC/DC releases High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Let There Be Rock, and the '74 Jailbreak EP.
'Dirty Deeds: My Life Inside/Outside of AC/DC' brings the gripping, laugh-out-loud tale of a band that lived fast and played harder than anyone else. The first bio by a band insider during the early years, the book details the struggles and personalities behind the rise of hard rock's most successful group; with guest spots by rock n' roll icons like George Harrison, Gene Simmons, Phil Lynott, Rose Tattoo, and members of Metallica. In his honest and revealing memoir, Mark Evans contends with life's many turns: A rough-as-nails upbringing, lucky breaks, soaring highs, and terrible personal loss and tragedy. It was a long way to the top...and he was just getting started.
"The aggressive attitude that AC/DC had towards Australian bands continued when we shifted overseas. The world's bigger bands became our new targets. Who the fuck did these pricks think they were? We saw a few of the so-called headline acts and straight away knew that we had nothing to fear."
