AC/DC Headlines Hammersmith November 10th 1976

November 10th, 1976 AC/DC would headline the Hammersmith Odeon in London, England for the very first time. This concert would also be the first and last only known time that AC/DC would perform the song “Big Balls” live. The Hammersmith would become a tradition for the band to visit, and is often cited by die-hard AC/DC fans as one of their favorite venues to see an AC/DC show. In 2003 AC/DC returned to the Hammersmith for the first time in 20 years (now called the Carling Apollo Hammersmith) to perform a special club show for fans on October 21st which would also be their last live date until the “Black Ice” tour in 2008. AC/DC attended the world premiere of their “Live At River Plate” DVD at the Hammersmith on May 6th 2011.
