On New Years Eve, Monday December 31st, 1973 AC/DC performed their very first live show at Chequers in Sydney, Australia.
The early set list at Chequers and going forward into the Australian club gigs to follow would consist of many early rock 'n roll
covers (Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, Little Richard, Elvis amongst others) with a handful of early versions of AC/DC originals such as
"Can I Sit Next To You Girl" and "Soul Stripper."
Almost 40 years later, AC/DC has sold well over 200 million albums worldwide and continue to dominate the rock and touring charts with their albums and tours.
