AC/DC Today: 35 Years Ago In Glasgow
On April 30, 1978 AC/DC performed at The Apollo in Glasgow Scotland as part of the bands Powerage tour. The band returned to the stage and performed an encore of "Fling Thing" and "Rocker" dressed in Scottish football colors. Most of the songs were used on what would become AC/DC's first official live album "If You Want Blood (You've Got It") released October that year. The concert was also filmed, and several of the songs were included on the AC/DC DVD releases "Family Jewels" and "Plug Me In". The venue closed in 1985 and was eventually demolished in 1987.
