Let There Be Rock Released internationally

On June 23 1977, AC/DC released their fourth studio album titled "Let There Be Rock" worldwide. "Let There Be Rock" is a powerhouse of a raw guitar-oriented album, produced by Vanda and Young and recorded at Albert Studios in Sydney.
The Australian version of the album (Albert label) featured a slightly different track listing, and a completely different (and gate-fold) album cover. The song "Crabsody In Blue" would not officially become available in America until AC/DC's "Backtracks" box set in 2009. "Problem Child" was substituted in its place (taken from the "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" album, which at the time was held back from an American release and would not be issued there until 1981). Many of the songs from the "Let There Be Rock" album remain staples in AC/DC's live set to date, including "Whole Lotta Rosie", "Bad Boy Boogie", and of course the title track.

Also on this date...June 23 1975, AC/DC released their "High Voltage"/"Soul Stripper" single in Australia.
