AC/DC Today: High Voltage Released!
May 14th 1976 AC/DC releases their first international album titled "High Voltage". The album is a coupling of their first two Australian-only releases (both released on the Australian Albert label in 1975) "High Voltage" and "T.N.T."
By early '76, AC/DC had already dominated the Australian rock scene with several top ten songs and both albums having been certified Gold in Australia. Only two songs were selected from the original "High Voltage", namely "She's Got Balls" and "Little Lover". The remaining tracks (including the title track "High Voltage") were taken from the album "T.N.T."
The flipside of the album sleeve contained mock letters that were written to (or in some cases about) each of the band members.
