After forty years of life dedicated to AC/DC, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young is taking a break from the band due to ill health. Malcolm would like to thank the group’s diehard legions of fans worldwide for their never-ending love and support.

In light of this news, AC/DC asks that Malcolm and his family’s privacy be respected during this time. The band will continue to make music.

i always feel bad when i go to munich and i pass near to the old stadium.... i wasnt there when this amaizing concert was made ... i was just a kid but still ..i am a crazy fan of AC/DC but i never been no one of them concert .... i feel bad about it ...but still as long as i will live i will always have them songs on my head , so thankyou guys for what you have done ! thankyou Malcom i wish you the best !

WHEN COME TO CHILE ?

Since 1978 i follow your songs, and i still love your works. I hope to have some time to look in your eyes, shake your hands for a few seconds and say: Thank you all guys, thank you Malcolm, that´s it! And i ´ll realize a dream of my life!

40 years is a long time to rock n roll as hard as you have Malcolm! Concentrate on your health brother! Get well soon.

Well, nobody wants the end! but we must to remember that everybody needs a time to stop... sometimes! YOU MALCOLM, HAD DID TOO MUCH TO ALL OF US ALONG THIS YEARS... My best wishes ,be with your friends and family. Thank you so much man!

Dear Malcolm,
You are one of the reasons I started to learn to play the guitar. I have been playing now for 25 years and still look to you for inspiration! I hope that the support of the fan-community gives you strength.
