On August 22nd, 1981, AC/DC would perform at Castle Donington (Donington Park) in the UK for the first time at the Monsters Of Rock festival. AC/DC would headline the event in front of an approximate crowd of 65,000. The festival would take place 6 months after AC/DC had completed their "Back In Black" world tour, wrapping things up in Australia that February. Supporting acts would include Whitesnake, Blue Oyster Cult, Slade, Blackfoot, and More(Gary).
