AC/DC's return to the stage after Bon Scott's untimely passing would take place first in Namur, Belgium on June 29th, 1980. This would be Brian Johnson's first appearance on stage with AC/DC, giving fans their first taste of the band with their then new front man. This concert would also be the first and last known time that AC/DC would perform the song "Shake A Leg" live on stage. After a 6 date warm up tour of Belgium and Holland, AC/DC would embark on their "Back In Black" world tour heading to North America, the UK, Europe, Japan, and finally Australia, finishing up on February 28th, 1981 at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne.
The band would transport their very own one ton "Hells Bell" on the road, which would be lowered to the stage each night as the bell tolls of "Hells Bells" are heard. Brian would finish it off with several hard hits, hammer in hand as the band would commence the show.
AC/DC would come back to headline Castle Donington's annual Monsters Of Rock festival in August '81 performing to a crowd of 65,000 fans.
