So lock up your daughter
And lock up your wife
Lock up your back door
And run for your life

At the age of 7 I was introduced to the world of rock music and to AC/DC by my dad.

I think I am lucky to have been brought up in such a rocking household as the music of today is shocking and not to my taste at all. I feel that AC/DC are such a big part of my life as their music has helped me get through tough times by just losing myself in the music. A personal favourite of mines when i'm feeling mellow is 'Ride On' as the words are so potent it makes me think about everything I have, but also remember those who aren't here anymore.

The best day of my life however was the 30th of June 2009, the day I seen AC/DC in Glasgow with my dad. I don't think anything will be able to top that night ever. The atmosphere is one of the things that stays with me as everyone was so happy and there were quite a few people standing around me dressed as Angus. I remember during 'Highway to Hell' as the sun was setting looking around Hampden and the bowl was lit up with red Angus horns, it was such an amazing sight. Also at one point during the concert I was 8 people away from Brian Johnson! xD

I have just recently got my first tattoo done which says 'AC/DC' in red and black then underneath in fancy script 'Let there be Rock'. The tattoo symbolises two things, my love of AC/DC's music but it also represents my dad who got me into the music in the first place.
