Another quintessential date in AC/DC's early tour history from this month falls on the 9th. December 9th, 1979 during AC/DC's "Highway To Hell" tour, the band performed two concerts, an afternoon and evening show, at the Pavillon de Paris in Paris, France.
The evening concert was filmed and would later receive a theatrical release in September 1980 as AC/DC "Let There Be Rock", the motion picture being dubbed as "the only movie powered by AC/DC."
The concert was officially released as a double CD album in 1997 as part of AC/DC's "Bonfire" box set.
