I FIRST SAW AC/DC IN A BAR UNDER A HOTEL IN BLACKPOOL ON (WHAT I THOUGHT WAS) THEIR "LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS" TOUR IN 1976 BUT THE VENUE ISN'T MENTIONED IN THE TOUR DATES. ANYONE THROW ANY LIGHT ON THIS?
I remember them playing somewhere in sheffield on this tour. They stayed at the Hilton and we partied there. Malcolm Young was wicked. Bon scott was like a big brother but a bit disenchanted with it all. We dressed as school girls and I won made in heaven jeans. Seem to remember a picture in nme or melody maker at the time. Went to the Marquee too.
I first saw ac/dc at the old marqee club in london when they played with back street crawler after paul kossof had died then in the festival hall in corby.
