AC/DC Glasgow Apollo April 1978
On April 30th 1978 AC/DC performed their infamous concert at the Glasgow Apollo Theatre in Scotland, one of the first shows of AC/DC’s 1978 UK “Powerage” tour. The concert was filmed and recorded, and the majority of the show was used later that year for AC/DC’s first official live album “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)”. Although there has been no official video release of the entire concert, several clips have been released on AC/DC DVD’s including “Family Jewels” (which includes “Riff Raff”, “Fling Thing”, and “Rocker”) and “Plug Me In” (which includes "Rock 'N Roll Damnation", "Dog Eat Dog" and "Let There Be Rock").

“Dog Eat Dog” from this concert was also released as a ‘B side to AC/DC’s live “Whole Lotta Rosie” single in 1978, and later became officially available as part of the 2009 “Backtracks” box set release. The band returned to the stage for their encore dressed in Scottish football colors to perform “Fling Thing” and “Rocker”.
