On Oct 26, 2008, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, AC/DC launched their "Black Ice" world tour with a special fan dress rehearsal, which would commence a tour that would last 18 months. Just 2 weeks ago, the massive world tour, that took that band to 5 continents, spanning 32 countries, for 168 shows through 11 legs came to an end in Bilbao, Spain on June 28. The Australian leg of the "Black Ice" world tour were the fastest selling shows ever in the history of the country, and would also become the highest grossing Australian tour in music history. The Black Ice tour is also destined to become one of the top selling tours of all time.
AC/DC would return for an explosive performance at Donington park, making it the bands 4th appearance there, once again and rightfully so as headliner, giving it their all in front of 90,000 fans, and proving once again that rock n roll ain't gonna die.
