  • Beginning in November, video gamers around the world will get to experience what it's like to rock like AC/DC, the world's most electrifying rock & roll band, with the Rock Band exclusive release of AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack. Created by Harmonix, the leading developer of music-based games, and MTV Games, AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack marks the first time ever the band has offered an entire album for video game play.

    AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will feature the master recordings from the best of the band's live performances specially remixed for Rock Band by Mike Fraser, who mixed the band’s forthcoming album, Black Ice, at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, BC. Players will be able rock-out to 18 of AC/DC’s biggest hits, allowing for more than 99 minutes of game play for each instrument. Included are:

    Full of the band's classic songs, the game will be available exclusively in the U.S. at Walmart and Sam's Club this November, and in retailers throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand beginning in early December. All tracks from the AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will also be available for play in Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and other compatible music game peripherals.

    The AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will be available exclusively at Walmart Stores and Sam's Club in the U.S. on November 2nd on XBox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 and on November 16th for Wii. Pricing for AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii is $39.88 and $29.88 for the PlayStation 2. The AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will also be available in Europe, Australia and New Zealand in early December on XBox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and Wii. In the UK, AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will be £29.99 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii and £19.99 for the PlayStation 2. In the rest of EU, the AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will be €39.99 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii and €29.99 for the PlayStation 2. In Australia, AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack will be $49.99 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation, Wii and PlayStation 2.

  • Fans responded enthusiastically to the first AC/DC world tour in eight years with 18 Black Ice World Tour concerts selling out in record time. Unprecedented fan response forced additional shows in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Oakland. 

    Black Ice World Tour ticket sales highlights include:

    -Chicago's Allstate Arena concert sold out in minutes forcing the second show to go on sale, which also sold out over the weekend.
    -Both Madison Square Garden concerts sold out in minutes.
    -Vancouver's General Motors Place concert sold out in 4 minutes, a record for that venue.

    -San Antonio fans purchased more tickets in one day for AC/DC than for any other artist in that market's history.
    -Tickets for Toronto's Rogers Centre sold faster than any stadium concert in the venue's history.

    "The tremendous fan response to AC/DC is evidenced by record breaking ticket sales this weekend," said Columbia Records co-Chairman Steve Barnett.  "Along with the worldwide success of the No Bull DVD re-release, it's obvious that fans are anxiously awaiting the October 20th release of the new album, Black Ice."

    "AC/DC's fans came out in force this weekend to get tickets to the band's upcoming 'Black Ice' tour," said David Marcus, Ticketmaster's senior vice president, Music.  "A live AC/DC event promises to be a legendary rock show.  We're glad Paperless Ticket helped fan club members and fans get tickets at face value for designated seats."

    The Black Ice World Tour opens on October 28th at the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA.   The worldwide tour - the band's first since 2001 - promotes Black Ice, AC/DC's latest studio album.  Black Ice will be released on October 20th and sold in the US exclusively at Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, and www.acdc.com. The album is currently available for pre-order at www.walmart.com and www.acdc.com.

    Tickets to AC/DC's Black Ice World Tour are available through Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster charge-by-phone, Ticketmaster retail outlets, or at ACDC.com.  Specific market on sale dates and times are listed at Ticketmaster.com's AC/DC page.   Fans ordering tickets through Ticketmaster.com will have an exclusive opportunity to pre-order AC/DC's Black Ice album in connection with their ticket purchase.

  • Yesterday marked the launch of AC/DC Radio on both Sirius and XM Satellite Radio. The channel will celebrate AC/DC's iconic career and the upcoming release of Black Ice, the band's first studio album in eight years. AC/DC Radio will be broadcast on Sirius channel 29 and XM channel 53 and will run from September 15, 2008 to January 15, 2009.

    AC/DC Radio will air AC/DC music 24/7, including classic rock recordings such as "For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)." "You Shook Me All Night Long," and "Back in Black" as well as new songs from their Brenden O'Brien produced album, Black Ice. The channel will also feature AC/DC band members Angus, Malcolm, Cliff, Brian, and Phil describing their singular rock & roll career spanning more than 30 years and sharing their personal insights into their music. The band will also guide listeners through an exclusive preview of every track on Black Ice. So be sure to tune in!

No Bull: The Directors Cut is remixed in Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound and includes more than two hours of music and bonus features highlighting performances of the band's biggest hits. No Bull: The Directors Cut is sold in the US exclusively at Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, and www.acdc.com.
