OMG!!! look at Phill in the back!!! looks so fun!!
As a young rocker in the late 70s and early 80s there were only a couple of bands that I thought were so awesome that I spent the little money I had to buy the album AND t-shirt AC/DC topped the list with Van Halen's album that had Eruption on it. I liked a couple of Van Halen's hits at the time, but AC/DC... Every single song on Back in Black was top shelf and played so often on my record player that my younger brothers always complained; they also were into disco and that POS rap song "Rappers Delight", I rest my case.
For those of you younger than 45 or 50, you have no idea what it was like to be a teenager and listening to the dawn of the legends of rock who picked up where the Stones, the Who, and even Led Zeppelin left off. I was in Florida then, still am now that I think of it, but the late 70s and early 80s in Florida added to that mix hot babes, ozs of Colombian Gold for $40 and every Friday night was a blowout at whoever's parent where out of town.
What I loved the most about AC/DC though was that my parents hated it and thought it was beyond all reasonable boundaries within the realm of "ok". They rocked and sang about the things we loved... Drugs, Sex and Rock and Roll baby!
Cheers fellows, you are rock and roll legends who always be #1 in my book!!!
