September 17 – Washington DC – Verizon Center

 

Hard to believe that AC/DC will only be playing their 4th ever gig in Washington D.C. on September 17, 2016 as part of their ‘Rock or Bust’ tour after being away for 8 years. They first played the nation’s capital on November 19, 1985 at the Convention Center, which has a capacity of 5,000 attendees. This was part of their ‘Fly on the Wall’ North American leg 2 tour. The band then played the Verizon Center as part of leg 1 of their North American ‘Black Ice’ tour on November 15, 2008 with attendance of nearly 15,000 and returned to the city in October 16, 2009 for leg 3.  The set list from the October 2009 show included the following songs:
